The Jasani Department was founded in 1994 with expert guidance from Decta Consultants (UK) and the support of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India.
It remains the only diploma of its kind under SNDT Women's University's national jurisdiction, combining design, bench craft, gemmology, CAD/CAM and merchandising.
